Question:
Can I trust Preloadr http://preloadr.com to link to my Flickr account to access their software?

I came across this uploader tool, but don't know whether I can trust them.

Flickr gives me the following message:
Preloadr by neximage wants to link to your Flickr account.
You should not authorize Preloadr by neximage unless you trust them with access to your account.
By authorizing this link, you'll allow the Preloadr by neximage service to provide:

Access to your photos (including private photos)
Editing of your photo information via Preloadr by neximage
Uploads to your Flickr account via Preloadr by neximage

It sounds a bit dodgy when they say this. Anyone had any experiences?

yes you can allow it.

this is a very standard message that flickr shows whenever a tool (software/website) is using Flickr's API to get to your images

this is the only way they will let you use the service. i've gone through the same message for lots of other tools along with flickr

that said you do have to be careful, but this website seems to be legit .. it was reported on mashable (a reputable website)

I wouldn't trust anything unless it came straight from FLICKR's page or Yahoo's pages...

Like answer #1 says, it sounds fishy.

Sounds a bit fishy to me I'd say don't use it, better safe then sorry.
